1. Nature of the Service
Keller Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections relevant to Keller, Tarrant County, and Texas. It links to source custodians but does not host government records and has no affiliation with a government office, court, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service and information reached through it only for lawful purposes. You may not use them to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person.
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act.
- Make a decision that the Fair Credit Reporting Act regulates.
- Scrape, copy, or republish content at scale.
- Interfere with the service’s operation or security.
3. Consumer Reporting Limits
Keller Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing on the service, nor a result returned by a linked tool, is a consumer report. It may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Links to Other Services
Government portals, libraries, archives, sponsored tools, and other third-party services maintain their own terms and privacy practices. Keller Residents Directory does not control their content, availability, charges, or treatment of submitted information.
5. No Warranties
The service is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind. Keller Residents Directory does not guarantee that its information is complete, accurate, or current, or that a linked portal will operate or return a correct result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on a record found through them.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the service operators against claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from misuse of the service or a breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a brief attributed excerpt is permitted; full-page republication or systematic copying is not.
9. Term Updates
The operators may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Using the service after that posting means you accept the revised terms.
10. Access Restrictions
The operators may restrict or block access, without notice and at their discretion, when a user violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. Texas Governing Law
Texas law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The Texas Public Information Act, Tex. Gov’t Code ch. 552, provides a route to existing governmental information subject to exceptions and reasonable charges; it does not require a custodian to create a resident list or release confidential material.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
13. Questions
Questions about these terms may be sent through the Contact page.
